About Berry Funeral Directors

Berry Funeral Directors is a family funeral business on Magill Road in Norwood, in Adelaide's inner east. Charles Archibald Berry started it in 1934 as Charles Berry & Son, his son joined after the Second World War, and the business says it is now in its fourth generation of the Berry family.

The Norwood funeral home has two chapels, the larger Main Chapel and the smaller Sanctuary Chapel, both beside a Memorial Garden with a Memorial Wall for ashes. There are two lounges with a licensed bar for gatherings after the service, arrangement rooms in the heritage-listed Archibald House, an on-site mortuary and parking for about 50 cars.

Families can choose burial or cremation and a civil or religious service, and arrangements are made at the Norwood funeral home. Services can be live streamed. Berry does not publish package prices online; it gives an estimate when the funeral is arranged, so ask for an itemised quote.
